It’s time again to start thinking about HR Certifications.
SuncoastHR will be offering affordable Certification Prep classes for the HRCI certification window.
Our classes will be held on Tuesday evenings starting February 28th for 13 weeks, ending on May 23rd, with Exam Cram sessions on April 4th, April 29th, and May 27th. The classes start at 6pm and go to 8:30pm and will be held at Webster University located at 11201 Corporate Circle North, St. Petersburg, FL 33716.
The cost of the class is $500 for members and $625.00 for nonmembers; which includes all materials and membership (through February 28, 2018) with SuncoastHR. The class does not include the cost of the Certification Test itself or membership to SHRM National. Registration will be available online through our website www.suncoasthr.org. All payments must be made directly through www.suncoasthr.org. The deadline to register for the fall certification prep class will be Wednesday, February 22nd. Please note: If you are a nonmember, please apply for membership FIRST and pay the membership fee of $125.00. Once that’s complete, you may register for the class.
These classes are designed to present the Body of Knowledge (BOK) that you will be expected to know to achieve certification and to go over how the tests are presented. Our classes provide you with comprehensive information to help you understand the BOK and answer any questions you may have in regards to the testing process, study tips and a support system through the preparation process.
HR certification is a career-long commitment that demonstrates to your peers, your employees and your organization that you have mastered core HR knowledge and principles and are dedicated to staying current in your field. Passing the exam is only one part of the certification process. Because the exams are experience-based, applicants must have the required work experience to be eligible to apply for the exams. Once the HR professional has passed the exam and is certified, the recertification requirements ensure the HR professional is keeping up with changes in the field.
